Local Host Societies-Centennial Las Vegas Genealogy Society

A belief of three friends was that the Northwest part of Las Vegas was sorely lacking genealogy-wise.  So they decided to start one.  By-laws were written, a meeting place located, notices were posted and in January 2010 the first meeting of the Centennial Las Vegas Genealogy Society (CLVGS) was held.

It has been an exciting two years. There have been outside speakers, in-house workshops, the beginnings of a library, a few parties, participation in sister organization activities. The mission of helping one another and continuing everyone’s education has certainly been met.

CLVGS is proud to be one of the six host organizations for the NGS 2013 Family History Conference in Las Vegas.
